Hopkinton State Park review

Fantastic State Park. Great Lake with beaches for swimming in the summer. Boats are also available to rent. Lots and lots of charcoal grills for three season barbecues. In the summer, it’s busy with family gatherings and lots of food and music. The walking and hiking are also great, whether you stay on the road that encircles the park or the many wooded trails off it.

I took a great walk here. The leaves had turned color and the water was still as glass. There were not many people here so it was very peaceful. The colorful boats were stacked up and looked so pretty. I always enjoy seeing all the happy dogs too! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful park with beautiful views. Can grill here and have tables/chairs for people to come for picnic. Parking is $8 for Massachusetts residents. Ducks follow you around. A lot of parking available. Need to be out of the park before 8 pm. Otherwise they close the gate at the very start of the park where you enter from at 8 pm and then have to call the Hopkinton police department to come and open the gate for you to come out.

Beautiful walk Saturday morning. Unfortunately, there was another visitor with 3 unleashed dogs who didn’t pick up after them.
