Hawaii National Parks Map 2024
- Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail: This national historic trail spans approximately 175 miles along the coastline of the Big Island of Hawaii, preserving and interpreting ancient Hawaiian footpaths and traditional coastal routes.
- Haleakalā National Park: Located on the island of Maui, Haleakalā National Park features the Haleakalā Crater, a massive dormant volcano, and a diverse range of ecosystems, including subalpine and tropical rainforest environments.
- Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park: Located on the island of Hawaii (the Big Island), Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park is home to two of the world’s most active volcanoes, Kīlauea and Mauna Loa. The park features volcanic landscapes, lava fields, steam vents, and a variety of unique plant and animal species.
- Honouliuli National Historic Site: It’s located on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii, USA. It is situated in the Ewa district, near the town of Waipahu.
- Kalaupapa National Historical Park: It is situated on the northern coast of Molokai, one of the Hawaiian Islands. The park includes the Kalaupapa Peninsula, an isolated and rugged area surrounded by the Pacific Ocean.
- Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park: Located on the western coast of the island of Hawaii, Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park preserves and interprets ancient Hawaiian cultural sites, including fishponds, heiaus (temples), and house sites.
- Pearl Harbor National Memorial: Located on the island of Oahu, Pearl Harbor National Memorial commemorates the December 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor and its significance in World War II.
- Pu’uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park: Located on the island of Hawaii, Pu’uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park preserves an ancient Hawaiian place of refuge, or pu’uhonua, as well as other archaeological and cultural sites.
- Puʻukoholā Heiau National Historic Site: Located on the island of Hawaii, Puʻukoholā Heiau National Historic Site preserves a historic Hawaiian temple complex constructed by King Kamehameha I in the late 18th century.
