Platte River State Park review
We enjoyed outside areas pretty much. With every cabin they had BBQ spot with table and bench. They also had a common picnic spot. Trails, paddle boats, archery, splash park, watch tower everything we enjoyed. For kids the splash park is a must, only costs $3/ person, really worthy. It’s a nice place to spend your weekend there.
The park also had a small lake with paddle boats to rent. There are smaller ponds connected to the bigger lake called Crawdad Creek and the kids can wade in them and try to catch frogs and tadpoles.
The Spray Park cost $3/person but well worth it. There’s slides and it’s a two level splash pad that occupied the kids for hours.
This was our first time here and we will definitely be back.
